Coach Kirby holds a Pupil Activity Permit issued by the Ohio Department of Education with FBI/BCI clearance and holds all certifications required to coach athletes in the state of Ohio.  He was a high school state champion at University School, 4 year Collegiate starter, PAC Champion and career record holder in wins, saves, save %, and GAA at Washington & Jefferson College.  He currently holds a National Council on Strength & Fitness (NCSF) - Certified Personal Trainer certification and a TRX Suspension Training Level I certification and is enrolled in the Sports and Exercise Studies Program at Cuyaholga Community College.

 

Coach Kirby's Philosophy

 

"I founded Ran Kirby Sports Fitness LLC becauase when I was in high school and college, I was disappointed with the lack of lacrosse specific workout programs. Instead of giving up, I researched and worked hard to come up with sport specific moves that were applicable to lacrosse. I pulled from many different sports as well as the world of MMA and also focused my education on exercise science."
